These are premium quality, precision made, high performance retro-fit roller lifters. Originally developed for Off-Shore racing, they feature precision Check-Ball Metering, allowing for continuous operation at high engines speeds in a high performance endurance car or jet boat. They are also quite suitable for a daily driver, as they are quiet operation and do not require heavy spring pressure or special preload settings like some of our competitor's performance lifters. They are also available in a Short-Travel version, P/N 5207-ST, by special order only. DETAILS

In general, falling under the amount listed could cause poor valve control at higher RPM, and going over could cause premature cam lobe or bearing needle wear.
