This tight lash cam was originally designed for cirlce track cars with stock or mildly modified engines on short courses that needed maximum midrange torque. This camshaft has excellent throttle response and explosive midrange power for engines with stock or mildly ported heads and dual plane manifolds. 9:1 compression ratio or higher, shorty headers suggested. Manual or automatic transmission with 2000 rpm stall converter. We can grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way). We also make this same grind in .493" lift and .536" lift versions.
