This tight lash, fast ramp profile camshaft was originally designed for track cars with modified engines that needed agressive cams with fast opening and closing ramps. Essentially this is a flat tappet cam profile designed to mimick the agressiveness of a roller tappet profile. Ported or aftermarket heads, 10.5:1+ compression ratio, and long tube headers are suggested. Manual transmission or automatic with 3200+ rpm stall converter. Because of the agressive lobe design, we do not suggest using this cam with a rocker ratio greater than 1.6:1. We can also grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).
