Very mild camshaft, one generous step up from stock, with excellent throttle response and great economy. For use in stock or slightly modified engines with a header or late model exhaust manifolds. Ideal for very heavy vehicles or heavy duty towing applications that need maximum low range torque. 7.5:1 compression ratio or higher, over 9:1 is not suggested due to the early intake valve closing events. No aftermarket stall converter is required. The lower valve lift of this cam allows the use of stock valve springs. We can also grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).
Please keep in mind that due to the additional stroke, any given camshaft in a 300" engine will have 300-500 rpm lower than in a 240" engine.
