Great throttle response and lowend to midrange torque, very slight exhaust lope but still has good vacuum. For use in stock or slightly modified engines with a header or late model exhaust manifolds. Perfect daily driver cam for a 300" engine. 8:1 compression ratio or higher, over 9.25:1 is not suggested due to the early intake valve closing events. Aftermarket springs are suggested. No aftermarket stall converter is required, but a slightly looser stall would be better behind a 240" engine. We can also grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).
Please keep in mind that due to the additional stroke, any given camshaft in a 300" engine will have 300-500 rpm lower than in a 240" engine.

Engineer's Notes: This cam has a little more duration than the 260H, but a little less lift - both cams run very similar. We suggest the 131H for engines with a stock head and the 260H for engines with a little port clean up. **If you have any questions in regards to the compatibility with your set-up please call before you purchase**
