These are a 'Stage 2' style grind, for use in stock to mildly modified engines running stock or slightly increased boost levels. Good bottom, midrange, and better top end power. Slight chop at idle. Tuning is heavily suggested, but not absolutely required. Does not usually require shimming the hydraulic lash post. Stronger valve springs are suggested, but not required.
