These are a 'Stage 3' style grind, for use in modified engines with increased boost levels. Other modifications such as a tubular header, ported head, ported blower housing, or larger blower are suggested. Excellent midrange and top end power. Noticable chop at idle. Great for hot street & street/strip use. Tuning is required. May require shimming the hydraulic lash post. Stronger valve springs are required.
