This tight lash cam was originally designed for cirlce track cars with stock engines on short courses that needed maximum midrange torque. This camshaft has excellent throttle response and explosive midrange power for engines with stock or mildly ported heads and dual plane manifolds. 8.5:1 compression ratio or higher, shorty headers suggested. No aftermarket stall converter is required, but a 1600rpm stall works even better. We can also grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).
