This tight lash cam was originally designed for cirlce track cars with stock engines on short courses that needed maximum midrange torque. It is a mild camshaft with excellent throttle response and great economy for use in engines with stock or mildly ported heads and dual plane manifolds. 8.5:1 compression ratio or higher, shorty headers suggested. No aftermarket stall converter is required, but a 1600rpm stall works even better. We can also grind this cam on any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).
